Why do all this?

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." -1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)

Hi, I’m Sarah, lifelong St. Louis area native. Since people have started asking, here’s a little more about me.

I’ve served on church staff since 2002, currently as Office Manager, honing outreach skills along the way. With a passion for music, especially vocals and percussion, I love leading and planning worship, and capitalizing on the skills of my very musical husband. I also spent many years as a youth sponsor and love hanging out with youth when I can. On the side, I partner with the ministry of Theology At the Bottleworks, bringing Christian commentary into our culture, along with several local prayer initiatives. My education focused largely on writing and mass comm, particularly journalism and advertising. I've also completed the CCEF Foundations of Biblical Counseling program, which has proven invaluable in serving others. And with all that, I still get to enjoy things like concerts and sci-fi and birds and NASCAR and… well, we don’t have time.

So thanks for asking, you guys. I mean that. The Lord has clearly brought me a very long way. But my main point here was never to make this about me.

If you read even "my story," you probably figured it out by now. I was shown there's more to life than just “me,” and there's a lot more after death than just nothing. My corner of the internet may be small, but there's nothing small about the God I serve, and I want you to know that. This is for the glory of God in Jesus Christ. That's why Mini Ministry exists.

And now for the semi-legal sounding stuff...
